A Little About Me

My name is Cassie Ann, and two of my favorite things in the world are traveling and curating decor finds for my home's European-inspired styled interiors. As a culture and wine enthusiast, I love to venture throughout the world and show others some of my favorite corners of the globe through my experiences with art, sustainably produced food & wines, and design.

I am an Atlanta native who spent my 20s living abroad and in Washington, D.C., where I earned my masters degree in international & intercultural communications.

During the pandemic, my husband and I traded in the monumental city views of Capitol Hill for the countryside charm of north Georgia and moved just outside the city of Athens, Georgia with our two fur babies, Spade & Remington.

I have had the opportunity to live abroad in Europe, and through my personal life and career, I keep quite a busy travel schedule. These experiences continue to influence how I travel and style my home. It is my pleasure to share glimpses of my life's moments that bring me joy in the hopes that you will be able to use my words and photos as resources to live fully whether nesting at home or on the go. I hope my blog, posts, and photos inspire you to live creatively with a dash (or more) of extravagance and encourage you to embark on that next trip.

As an avid traveler, I believe that exploring new places opens our eyes to the world's beauty and enriches our souls with unforgettable experiences. From the bustling streets of Cape Town to the serene vineyards of Tuscany, every destination has a unique story to tell and I will be sharing some of my favorite journeys on this blog so you can follow along.

Through my travels and international studies, I have experienced the allure of immersing in diverse cultures and trying local food and wine. Whether it's savoring Santorini-harvested wine in Greece, or indulging in Michelin-starred cuisine in Medellin, Colombia, food and wine form an essential part of my travel escapades and everyday life.

The Enchanting World of Wine

A wine enthusiast at heart, I believe that every glass of wine narrates its own story, representing the essence of its origin and history. Wine-tasting experiences are similar to a symphony that engages all our senses - each sip takes us on a sensory journey. I have had the privilege of touring renowned vineyards around the world to better learn about the science and art of winemaking. I will be using this blog and my social media posts to share some of my current and all-time favorite vineyards and wines.

Home Sweet Home: Elevating Your Living Space

Although traveling is probably my favorite hobby, there's nothing quite like returning to a beautifully curated home. I think that our living spaces should mirror our personalities and passions, so by blending travel-inspired elements with romantic and moody accents, I try to design my home to be a cozy yet elevated haven that evokes a sense of wanderlust and sophistication. On this blog, I will share my home's decor story and hope it inspires yours as well.
