The Patio
The side patio of our home can be seen from the living room when the french doors shades are drawn up, so it was important to me to create a space that flowed from indoors to outdoors in a welcoming fashion. Because this is an outdoor patio, I had to think about the durability of my furniture and decor styling choices. Additionally, I let my style explore itself and switched gears to a more black + white palette with modern decor touches of silver + gold. This is favorite hangout spot for our fur babies, Spade and Remington, and for Thomas and I to enjoy a cocktail to watch the sunset.
Patio Seating
We needed patio seating for a smaller space (it's just me, Thomas and the puppies!) so a couch with two accent chairs would be perfect. We chose this Beachcroft combination to fill the space perfectly, and the swivel chairs are a crowd pleaser for guests.
Coffee Table & Decor
The center of the patio holds the eye candy - the mother-of-pearl mosaic cocktail table. You can find similar options to this one here and here.

I chose to dress the cocktail table with a gold and glass tray, topped with a decorative bowl filled with moss balls and a three taper modern candelabra.

The outdoor rug has been quite durable, and I chose this lattice design from Rugs.com.
Outdoor bar cart
This bar cart has served us well (literally)!

I lucked out and found this mother-of-pearl two-tiered bar cart at Homegoods, but you can find something similar online.

The copper champagne chiller is one of our favorite entertaining pieces. And this machine-washable tablecloth is so helpful when setting up a display table.
Details
The side tables on our patio do not match on purpose (mixing tones and materials to keep it from being too black & white of a canvas) and provide space for candles, flowers, or our favorite cordless tap-lights.

Behind the couch is a small gathering table with two black chairs that are perfect for our evenings eating outside with the pups. When we are not dining outside, I have a decorative bowl with filler accents on display.
