The Guest Room

I wanted our main guest room to be a place where guests could feel like they stepped into a French countryside bed & breakfast. There are heavy influences throughout the room from our time in Napa, Sonoma, Bordeaux, and Tuscany, and while cozy, I do think the interior styling still brings a mood of elegance.

At First Glance

I have been told that the first thing that guests notice when they walk into the room is the wallpaper. I am a little obsessed with it, and you can find it at Tempaper

Another piece of the room that elevates the look is the floor to ceiling curtains that are a beautiful dusty rose to complement the pillows and art around the room.

Lighting can really make or break a room, so I knew I wanted a bit of a feminine touch to the chandelier, so I went with a wooden fixture from Joss & Main. We may update this with something more glam later.

Get Cozy

The bedding really stands out in the guestroom since it has a subtle shine on the pattern, which gives guests a hotel feel when they stay over. The details show an allover scroll jacquard pattern in shades of ivory and grey with a hint of apricot. I loved choosing this bedding. It is from the Waterford Belissa Collection

I believe it not available anymore, but you can find similar sets here:

The upholstered headboard is from Zoe. I am going to be changing this headboard out for a different look in the future, so stay tuned!
