🎼 These are a few of my favorite things: my home decor gift guide
'Tis the season to spread joy and warmth, and what better way to do so than with thoughtful home decor gifts that add a touch of charm to your loved ones' living spaces?
Below is my curated list of some of my favorite home decor gift ideas as you knock out your holiday shopping:
Art for the kitchen
An addition to my kitchen decor that I absolutely love is our art. Adding art to our kitchen area has really warmed up the space and makes the eye travel along the backsplash instead of focusing on the industrial parts of kitchen.
I have some curated paintings mixed in with some store-bought pieces. This citrus bowl framed piece from Target was an easy add to our space.

For the table decor maximalist
I realize that my coffee table in the living room is used as more of a canvas to display my colorful bowls, coffee table books, vases, and more. I do not leave a lot of space for actual coffee cups because the love the mix of textures all my items bring to the room.
If you are like me (or know someone like me), then you may want a place to store your TV remote in a fashionable way. Look no further than this Jonathan Adler lacquer box. It is sleek and sassy, and I love that it goes with anything (he has many designs to choose from).

If you are on the hunt for a vase that has a modern + vintage look, then I recommend these beauties. I bought a couple of different sizes of these vases, and I just tend to move them around the house as needed.

Another 100% sure-to-love gift is a stylish coffee table book. I have at least 15 around my home (I may have a hoarding problem?), and these are some you can order online to suit different personalities:
For the coffee lover
If you are trying to find a gift for a coffee lover, then I would suggest introducing them to a new Chemex or a new set of pretty coffee mugs. I use these almost every day, and it genuinely adds joy to my morning to have this coffee routine.
The mugs pictured below are from Amazon, and I have found similar ones at Homegoods as well!

Home accents with a personality
For your friend or loved one who likes to add a bit of eye-interest all over their home, I recommend this throw blanket. It is not really for comfort, but I get so many compliments on this blanket when people see it on my couch. This is a similar design (the designer I bought my throw from is no longer available) that you can order through Etsy, and I highly recommend it!

I would be remiss if I did not share this little gem of a USB-powered light. I have a few of these cute lamps around the house (on bookshelves, etc.) and I appreciate the vintage look and the small size of the lamp for little spaces around the house. The charge lasts a while, too!

This may be a little bit of an unorthodox gift, but another favorite of mine around the home is my faux olive tree. I have ordered three different ones, and this is what I have found to be the best one for our space, especially for the price point! It livens up the corner of our dining room and provides a great neutral green to the area. I also think it is the perfect height.

The gallery wall lover
Okay, I have tested A LOT of frames, and if you are looking for a black-and-white classic solution, then look no further than these black frames. They are a statement on our back hallway on the main floor, and you can experiment with your wall space to see how many frames give you the impact you want (we have 4 and I may get 4 more). I can also attest that these frames are quite durable - we had one fall to the ground on accident and it didn't break! Bonus: in the photo below, you get a little peek at our husky's furry bottom.

For the wine lovers
One of my favorite wine-related Christmas gifts that I have ever received was a subscription to the Kermit Lynch Wine Club. My husband and I have been members for 5 years and love each monthly shipment.
What makes this wine club I think so unique is that each package includes a club bulletin with profiles, tasting notes, and a recipe for food pairing recommendations. Kermit Lynch imports Italian and French wines that you will not see normally in your local wine shop or favorite restaurant, so these shipments can brighten up any wine lover's month! Also, Kermit Lynch keeps the price point reasonable, which everyone appreciates! I will write more about his imports in another blog post.

I hope these recommendations can act as a home decor gift guide and are helpful as you are getting your last-minute treasures (or even thinking of items you want to gift yourself).
